Business: White Collar Woodsmen

Owner: Patrick and Sarah Gorden

Product: Founders

Tell us about your business, how did you get started?

Our business started in fall of 2014, when Patrick wanted all of his groomsmen to grow beards for his upcoming wedding.  He found that beard care products were unreasonably priced so he decided to make his own. The business started to grow from there to family and friends, a barber, and now to where it is today!

How long have you been in business?

Since Fall of 2014, but business started truly taking off December of 2016.

What is your favorite part of running your own business?

We love meeting new people and customers at our shows. One of the best feelings as a business owner is hearing someone used your product, loved it, and comes back for more!

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Our scents are created by our friends and family or ourselves. We try to have our scent profiles vary so they appeal to many customers. We also model after scents that are familiar or recognizable.

What are some of your favorite local businesses?

We have had the honor of working with Unsung Salvage Design and C & S Designs to make additional items for our business.

Where do you see your business in 5 years?

We would love to have more opportunities in stores and barbers, in addition to getting into a ‘big box’ retailer.

Where can readers find out more about your work?

They can go to our Facebook page (Facebook.com/whitecollarwoodsmen), Instagram (@whitecollarwoodsmen), or website (www.whitecollarwoodsmen.com).

Come meet Patrick and Sarah on July 7th at the WestSide market in Downtown Cheviot.
